UnagiRebranding + digital design
In 2022, Unagi Scooters, an Oakland-based, high-end scooter manufacturer, faced the task of shifting its branding to match the premium quality of its product, often likened to "The Tesla of scooters." Tying it together
While the rebranding spanned across many touchpoints, perhaps the most consumer facing facet is the website. The site provided us an opportunity to utilize our new logomarks, typefaces, tone of voice, color palette, and renderings, and marry them all in a seamless digital experience.
We created a design system that helped to speed up design and implementation time, as well as make the site scalable for future product launches and features. In addition to the main site pages, we went through many interations of the checkout flow as the brand was shifting from a private ownership model to being subscription based, thus creating a lot of potential confusion that we were able to clarify in this area.
